Next Conference in Hawke’s Bay By Telegraph—Press Association. Invercargill, January 7. At the annual conference of the Athletic, Cycling and Axemen’s Union, it was decided to take steps to have the Government regulations regarding wrestling amended. It was also decided that a championship meeting be held annually. The next conference will be held in Hawke s Bay. The following officers were elected: President, Mr. H. H. Fraser; vice-presi-dents, Messrs. J. Walker, J. D. Qualter, and A. J. Fisher; council, Messrs. B. Meek, E. Perkins, J. Worthington, C. Church, D. George Cook, and J. Coffey; secretary, Mr. A. J. Macartney; cycling representatives on the Cycling Federation, Messrs. P. C. Lucas, J. Coffey, aud G. Henderson.
