Bear of Oakland’s Voyage By Telegraph.—Press Association. Dunedin, January 5. Steady progress is being made by the Bear of Oakland, which left Dunedin on Wednesday for the Bay of Whales. A radio message received by the Jacob Ruppert states that her noon position Was 47deg. lOniin. south, 171 <leg. 14min. east, and her speed 4.6 knots, which would place her about 92 miles from Tniaroa Heads. She was experiencing fresh head winds and moderate seas.
