The Nottingham correspondent of the “Daily Express” says that the proposed body-line mass meeting has been cancelled, as the Notts Counts- Club Committee is calling a general meeting of members at which Mr. Whitby’s motion will be discussed.

Barbados, in their first innings, made 177 (Carew 68, Byer 47 not out, Iddon four wickets for 14, Leyland four for 54). In the second innings one wicket was down for 8. The match was drawn. Rain interfered with play and the wicket was sticky.
