WEEK-END WEATHER
Mostly Sunny at Wellington The weather at AVellington on Saturday was cloudy in the morning but fine aud sunny during the afternoon. A very light southerly wind prevailed. The maximum temperature was 69.8 degrees, the minimum 56.8 degrees. Yesterday it was dull and rather threatening in tlie early part of the morning, but rapidly cleared, and the rest of the day was fine, warm and sunny, with a fresh northerly wind blowing.
AVanganui experienced perfect summor weather on Saturday and Sunday, with cool sea-breezes. The maximum temperature for Saturday was 77 degrees.
After a bright and sunny morning tlie sky became overcast at Masterton on Saturday afternoon, and several showers of rain fell. Yesterday was brilliantly fine. Ideal summer weather prevailed at Auckland during the week-end, conditions being very hot. A light breeze was blowing from the .south-west on Saturday, and from tho south-east yesterday. The barometer yesterday was steady at 30.00 inches. The weather was line and warm at Christchurch over tho week-end, with a fresh north-east breeze on both days. The barometer was liigh and steady.
A light north-east wind and fine weather prevailed fit Dunedin ou Saturday. The morning was cloudy, but bright sunshine was experienced in the afternoon. The maximum temperature was 68 degrees. There was bright sunshine yesterday, although the sky was cloudy in the afternoon. There was a north-easterly breeze and the barometer was falling.
