At a special meeting which lasted only seven minutes, the London County Council to-day agreed to the issue of £10,000.000 stock al 2? per cent to replace £10.000.(10(1 31 pci cent stock, which, it is estimated, will save the council £68,000 a year dtiring the next 35 years. •
