FORECAST FOR TO-DAY’S WEATHER.
» Fair to cloudy; temperatures cool, but rising. A Following is the weather report and forecast issued by the Meteorological Office, Wellington, for 24 hours ending at 4 p.m. to-day The recent depression has disappeared eastward, and a slight anti-cyclone is now advancing on to the Dolninion, with its centre to the north. Forecast: Moderate southerly winds veering later to northerlies about and south of Cook Strait.
Seas smooth to moderate in New Zealand waters. Moderate south-west to west winds and moderate seas in the eastern Tasman Sea. Weather (or the’most part fair to cloudy, but a few isolated showers still likely. Temperatures cool, but rising to-day. /
