ATHLETIC ATTRACTIONS

Electric Light Meeting

Au attractive programme will be presented at the athletic meeting which is to be held by electric light ou the Basin Reserve next Saturday night. There will be a great gathering of athletes, as a strong team from Wanganui is coming down next week-end to try conclusions with the Wellington and Kiwi clubs. Cycling will figure prominently on the programme, as F. J. Grose, the wellknown Canterbury rider, who represented New Zealand at the last Empire Games, will compete in three races with such noted cyclists as L. Roberts, T. Roe, O. Disley, C. Ulmer and A. Pennington. Entries for the meeting will close at James Smith Ltd. to-day.
