WINTER HEAT WAVE
High British Temperatures
(Received January 3, 11.20 p.m.) London, January 3.
The winter heat wave continues. In London the temperature in the early morning was only four degrees below that in June. The “Daily Mail” records that roses are blooming in Wales, daffodils in southern England, and spring flowers in parts of Scotland which are usually snow covered at this time of the yeat. Even on high hills there is not a speck of snow. <
