Giant Sunflower in Wellington Garden.—A Kelburn lady has succeeded in defying Wellington’s breezes sufficiently to raise several plants of an African type of sunflower, some of which are over ten feet high. The seed was imported from South Africa, and the flowers show considerable variation in colour.
