What to Pay for Foodstuffs
Eggs are still very cheap in Wellington retail shops. The best quality bacon has risen to 1/4 a pound. 'There are no recent changes in the prices of fruit and vegetables, with the'exeeption of oranges; practically all chat are being sold are Jamaica oranges at 2d. to 3Jd. each. Present prices are as follow;—
