Beach Wear For Men
Sh',—ln' reference to the column which appeared in Saturday's “Dominion” on the question of bench wear for men, and particularly to the statement made by J. Kelly, the executive committee of the Island Bay Surf Club wishes to deny the statement that Mr. Kelly is either a member of the club in question or is in any way connected with it. The New Zealand Surf Association has already made known the opinion of the surf clubs on the subject, and this club wishes to make it clear that it does not in any way wish to enter into a controversy on the subject. It is hoped that you will see your way clear to publish this letter, and thus correct the mistaken impression which has been made by the statement in question.—l am, etc.,
J. M. ARTHUR. On behalf of the Executive Committee of the Island Bay Surf Club. Wellington, January 3.
