JUNGLE TRAGEDY
Woman Accidentally Shot Lucknow, January 1. A tragic sequel to snap-shooting at beer, bottles occurred during a Christmas hunting expedition in the jungle. The guests included Lieutenant Withers, of the Royal Engineers, with his wife and her brother. The latter allegedly aimed at one bottle twice, the second time when it was falling. Mrs. Withers, who had just finished luncheon, entered the line of fire and received a No. 6 shot in the breast pointblank, and died immediately.
