AMBASSADOR RETIRES

in Poland

Rugby, December 29.
Sir William Erskine, British Ambassador at Warsaw, who is retiring from the diplomatic service, presented his letters of recall yesterday to the President of the Polish Republic, M. Mosclcki, on the completion of nearly seven years as British representative in Poland. The new British Ambassador, Sir Howard Kennard, is expected to take up his duties at Warsaw early next month.
