We all fall to the lure of gardening in time, and the latest devotee of the garden is the Duchess of York. She has had two new rock gardens made at her Windsor home, one for herself and the other for little Princess Elizabeth. The Princess’s rockery is a miniature affair, and stands in the garden surrounding her famous doll’s house. The Duchess’s rockery covers a slope in the wild part of the grounds, and almost the first words she says to her visitors now are “Come and see my rock garden,” in which she takes a very knowledgeable interest. .
