"VOTIFICATION is hereby given that it is the intention of the Bailway Department to protect all level crossings and overbridges for the passage of the Royal trains and in view of the occasion road users are specially requested to cooperate with the Railway Department and maintain a vigilant lookout when approaching level crossings or overbridges, in order to promptly obey any signal which may be exhibited by the crossingkeeper, thereby ensuring the smooth working of the arrangements made for the conveyance of his Royal Highness. The Royal train which will depart from Palmerston North at 12.15 p.m. on Friday, January 4, 1935. will run to Wellington. (Lambton) via the Wairarapa Line, and will be preceded by a pilot train and followed by an emergency train. The latter trains will run at an interval of apprfiximately 15 minutes 1 clear of the Royal train.
