Boy Injured by Accidental Discharge of Rifle By Telegraph.—Press Association. Masterton, December 30. A thirteen-year-old boy, Eric Wilson, son of Mr. William Wilson, of Wangaeliu. was admitted to the Masterton Hospital yesterday in a fairly serious condition as a result of the accidental discharge of a pea rifle he was carrying. The bullet entered the groin, and as yet has not been removed from the back, where it lodged. A slight improvement was reported in his condition to-night.
