XTOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at a Special Meeting of the Eastbourne Borough Council, held on the 20th day of December, 1934, the following resolution was passed: THAT the Eastbourne Borough Council, pursuant to a requisition dated October 26, 1934, issued by the Board of Health, and to the provisions of the Local Bodies Loans Act, 1926, Hie Municipal Corporations Act, 1933. and in pursuance of an Order-iu-Council dated November 8. 1934, and in pursuance and exercise of every other Act and authority in that behalf-enabling it, doth hereby resolve by way of Special Order as follows: — ■ „ - (1) To raise a Loan of Three Ihousand Pounds (£3000) for the purpose of completing the installation of the Water and Sewerage Services in the Borough, such loan to be known ns the “Water and Sewerage Loans 1934.” -• (2) That the term of the said loan shall not exceed twenty-two (22) years. (3) That the rate of interest on the said loan shall not exceed Three and a Half Pounds per centum per annum, payable half yearly. (4) That the said loan be repayable by half-yearly instalments of interest and principal, over a period of two years, the first payment to be made not later than June 1, 1955. (5) That the security for the interest and other charges and repayment of the said loan be a Special Rate of one and five-eighths pence in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Borough of Eastbourne.
