Traffic arrangements for the New Year holidays are being made by the Wellington corporation tramways. To-morrow the usual tram services will be run, excepting specials, but the bus services will be altered in some details, which are announced in an advertisement in this issue. The visit to Palmerston North, Woodville, and Alasterton by his Royal Highness the Duke of Gloucester on January 4, Friday next, will entail a special timetable of trains by the Railways Department. This has already been prepared, and details are advertised in this issue. Day excursion fares will be charged.’
