New Zealanders Fail Paris, December 27. In the covered court tennis quarterfinals, Borotra defeated Glasser, 6-4, 4-6, 6-4, and Prenn defeated Merlin, 6-0, 6-0. The latter has not fully recovered from a recent motor accident. In the doubles Martin Legeay and Ebsueur defeated Stedman and Malfroy, 6-4, 6-4. It) the mixed doubles Lesueur and Mlle. Barbier defeated Stedman and Miss Cunningham, 6-3. 6.3. D. Borman and Mlle. Adamson defeated Malfroy and Mlle. Adamoff, 6-3, 4-6. 6-3.
