TO-DAY’S WEATHER FORECAST.

Meteorological Office, Wellington, Friday, December 28, 1934, at 4 p.m. A moderate anti-cyclone is movipg on to New Zealand, the centre being in the south. A shallow depression lies along the east coast of Australia. A tropical cyclone is centred between Fiji and Samoa. Forecast: Variable winds, with moderate to fresh south-east to north-east predominating. . Seas rather rough on parts of the east coast; elsewhere smooth to moderate in New Zealand waters. Light to fresh east to north winds and moderate seas in the eastern Tasman Sea. A few isolated rains probable, more especially in eastern districts, and accompanied in places by thunder, but weather for most part fine and rather cooler.
