MAGISTRATE’S COURT
In the Magistrate’s Court, Wellington, yesterday, before Messrs. J. D. bierwright and H. W. McCoy, J.P.’s, Joseph Smith, carpenter, aged 66, was sentencted to one month’s imprisonment for committing an indecent act. . Fines of 10/- each were imposed on Henry Hotchen, aged 58. seaman, and Thomas Collins, aged 51, seaman on charges of disorderly behaviour while drunk. For fighting in a public place, ■flames Daley, fireman, aged 34, was tinixl £l, and James Dale, labourer, aged 4b, 10/-.
