Some confusion appears to exist concerning the date of the fight between Delaney and Tom Heeney in the world’s championship preliminaries, the date for which was originally set down as March 1. In response to several inquiries, Mr. T. O’Meara, we'l-’-nown wireless amateur, got into touch- with American stations to-nivht. and ascertained thnt the fi-ht is set down for nine n.m.. Friday, New York time. Allowing the fi”ht goes fifteen rounds, the result should be received in New Zealand about 3.30 p.m. on Saturday.
