PHOTOGRAPHER’S DEATH
An inquest was held yesterday morning touching the circumstances stirrounding the death of Edward Henry Freeman, a photographer, who was found dead in his studio on Monday afternoon. The Coroner, Mr. SV. G. Riddell. S.M., presided, and Sergeant J. R. Hodgon acted for the police. Deceased’s brother stated that deceased had been very depressed for some time. He did not return to his home on Sunday. When witness went to the studio’on Monday there was a strong smell of gas, and deceased was found dead on the floor. The verdict was that deceased died from the effects of gas poisoning selfadministered while in a depressed condition.
