faithful old farm horse, which has done excellent service at the Auckland Infirmary for over 20 years, is about to be pensioned off (says the “New Zealand Herald’'). This horse, which is stated to be 32 years of age, is as well known at the infirmary as the oldest inmates. The advent of the motor-car made no difference to its usefulness, and it has performed all sorts of tasks, being in constajit work.
