London Hospital has been granted a coat of arms by the Heralds College, a prominent feat ire being three feathers, symbolical of the inception of the institution at the Three Feathers Tavern, Cheapside, in 1740. It is possible to feed a man sufficiently to maintain life by massaging him with a mixture of fat, proteid, sugar, aud other ingredients.
