ROAD TRANSPORT IN ENGLAND
POWERS SOUGHT BY RAIL COMPANIES Rugby, February 27. Great interest is being displayed in the Road Transport Bills which are being promoted in Parliament by the railway companies, and which will be debated on the second reading in the House of Commons to-moirow, and probably on Wednesday evening. The principle involved in the five identical Bills of each of the five railway groups—the extension “f the powers of railway companies to enable them to provide road transport services will be decided on the results of these measures.—British Official Wireless.
