CONDITIONS AT MIDDLETON. BY Telegraph.—press association. Christchurch, February 2S. The safety of the working conditions of the now railway marshalling yard nt Middleton will be investigated when an inquest regarding tho death of Horace Gordon Grose, a shunter, is resumed. In the meantime, considerable uneasiness is stated to be felt by the men employed at the yard, and Hie manner in which some of (hem are' carrying out their duties has been described by tho officials as a form of passive resistance.
