HON. K. S. WILLIAMS IN MARLBOROUGH By Telegraph.—press association. Blenheim. February 26. The Minister of I’ubhc Works (Hon. K. S. Williams) arrived at Blenheim last night. After receiving deputations this morning he left for the Upper Awatere Valiev with the object of traversing the proposed new stock route via the Acheron Valley and Hamner to Christchurch. To-night will be spent at Molesworth Station, and to-morrow morning the Minister and his party will proceed on horseback into the hinterland of Marlborough. They expect to reach Hamner by nightfall. From Hanmer the Minister will go on to Christchurch to join Mr Coates for a tour of Central Otago.
