MEMORIAL FUND OPENED Rugby, February 27. A Thomas Hardy fund has been opened for a memorial which is to take the form of (1) the preservation of Hardy’s birthplace at Brockhampton; (2) an obelisk in the same neighbourhood; and (3) a Hardy Memorial building ill Dorchester, containing a collection of his works.—British Official Wireless.
