TAMAHINE’S LAST EXCURSION
The last opportunity this season of seeing the Marlborough Sounds under tlie exceptional conditions afforded by the Tauialiine’s excursions will be during the coming week-end. The Tamahine v"l leave Wellington at 1.15 p.m. on Sa t lay, arriving about half past four at Picton, where Wellington visitors to Blenheim for the races will be able to join the excursion, as she will spend the night alongside the Picton Wharf. The evening will be devoted to dancing on the spacious after-deck. In the early morning the vessel will leave Queen Charlotte Sound for Pelorus Sound, anchoring by breakfast-time in Tennyson Inlet. Here the morning will be occupied with boating, fishing, swimming. launch cruising, or in one or two short walks into the heart of the bush or to a viewpoint overlooking Pelorus Sound and Croisilles Harbour. On the way back in the afternoon a hying visit will be made into Ship Cove, Captain Cook’s rendezvous. The Taniahine will leave Picton about G p.m., arriving at Wellington about 9-30 p.m.
