Dr. Barnett is a Wellington visitor to Palmerston North. Air. G. J. Scott, of Dannevirke, has ,returne.d home after a holiday in Christchurch. \ x , Air. R. P- Furness (Alarlborougli) has been on a visit to Hawke’s Bay, and is now in Palmerston North, where he will attend the Rotary Conference. Mrs. Furness is accompanying her husband. Air. R. Aluirie (Wanganui) passed through Palmerston North on Monday on his return from Wellington. Mr. H. N. Watson (Palmerston North) is receiving treatment in a private hosPi Mr. L. Harman has left Napier for Christchurch, where he will attend Canterbury College. NEW PREMISES. Blandford and Co., expert furriers, Palmerston North, have now removed to Clarendon Buildings, Rangitikei Street, near Square corner. A cordial invitation is extended to ladies to inspect the new premises, also the stocks exhibited. The firm still maintains the high quality of furs, and the ' reasonable prices for which it is so well known throughout New Zealand.— Advt.
