ROTARY CONFERENCE

OFFICIAL OPENING TO-DAY Dominion Special Service. Palmerston North, February 28. At 10.30 to-morrow morning the sixth annual conference of the Rotary Chibs of New Zealand will be officially opened in Palmerston North by the Minister of Health (Hon. J. A. Young). It is expected that about 300 visiting Rotarians will be present, including the overseas representatives, Air. G. Dennison (official delegate of tlie Honolulu Club) and Mr. T. Purvis (representing the Melbourne Club). The days of the conference will be fully occupied, as is shown by the extensive programmes detailed, and though the main business will be the addresses delivered by various chosen members, the social side will also receive attention. Entertainments for the visitors are abundant, and, with the closer relationship of widely-separated Rotarians, there is no doubt that the conference will be successful from, all points of view.
