TWELVE PERSONS LOSE THEIR LIVES (Rec. February 28, 7.20 p.m.) Rio de Janeiro, February 27. Twelve persons were killed as a result of heavy rain on Sunday. More than four inches fell in a short time, and poured down from the hills in torrents and turned the streets into rivers.
