A message from Aurora, Nebraska, reports that Mr. F. N. Craig, a passenger, was burned to dea' A, and the pilot, Frank Yaeger, was irjnred, when an air mail aeroplane, bound from Omaha to Cheyenne, crashed to-day.— A.P.A. and “Sun.” PILOT AND PASSENGER MISSING (Rec. February 27, 7.5 p.m.) Vancouver, February 26. New York reports that an air search has failed to reveal the fate of pilot Walter Hendricks and an unidentified passenger, who have not returned to Curtis Field from an aeroplane flight made fifty miles to seaward on Saturday night.—A.P.A. and “Sun.” “FLIVVER” CRASHES (Rec. February 27, 7.5 p.m.) Washington, February 26. A message from Sebastian, Florida, states that a “flivver” aeroplane, which fell into the sea on Saturday night while en route from Detroit "to Miami in charge of Harry Brooks, was located to-day. No trace was found of Brooks. —A.P.A. and “Sun.”
