M’airarapa Training Farm.—Fourth prize and highly commended respectively. I’he fourth prize and highly commended P'‘ns were both good lots of lambs, and thr-ro wns practically nothing between |bom as regarded shnne, quality, and finish. Tlie lambs nor incntioned worn good quality freezing lambs, but they showed want of care in drafting, some of the pons having three nice letnlis and a weak one. and others two good ones nnd two weak ones. More ca r e should be taken by exhibitors in drafting. They should endeavour to get unifortnilv in si’ n . shade, and finish, as an oven pen of lambs will always win agninsi an uneven pen. although quality, finish, etc., may be equal.
