CUT IN CIVIL SERVICE VOTE London. February 24. A cut of £8,500,000 has been made in the Civil Service Estimates, which total £292,000,900, and includes Empire Marketing. £500,000, compared with £1,000,000 last year, and overseas settlement £1,330,000, compared with £1,510,000, Department of Overseas Trade £321,000, compared with £329,000.
