Air. W. J. Forsyth, District Public Trustee at Dannevirke. is at present on annual leave, and in the meantime the office is in charge of Mr. S. A. Gibson. Air. F. A. de la Mare has returned io Hamilton from the south, where lie has been attending the annual sessions of the New Zealand University Council. Dr. F. Bowerbank, of Wellington, is a visitor to Hamilton, as also is Dr. J. K. Davidson, of Christchurch. Air. H. S. Moss, secretary to the Hawke’s Bay Jockey Club, was a visitor to the Woodville races. Mr. W. Hunt, of Invercargill, is a visitor to Palmerston North. Air. J. Absolram, of Hawke’s Bay, was a visitor to Palmerston North this week. Mr. W. J. Laws, of Napier, has returned from a visit to the National Park. Air. T. C. Lowry, of Okawa, Hawke’s Bay, has returned from a visit to Wellington and Taihape. Air. and Airs. J Linklater are spending a holiday in the south, where they will attend the Diamond Jubilee of the Grey district. NEW PREMISES. Blandford and Co., expert furriers, Palmerston North, have now removed to Clarendon Buildings, Rangitikei Street, near Square corner. A cordial invitation is extended to ladies to inspect the new premises, also the stocks exhibited. The firm still maintains the high quality of furs, and the reasonable prices for which it is so well known throughout New Zealand.— Advt.
