SEA SCOUT INSPECTION
AT TUB BOAT HARBOUR. Over 100 Sea Scouts assembled at the boat harbour on Saturday afternoon, when the four Wellington troops paraded for the annual inspection by Commander Hall, R.N. (retired), of Dominion headquarters, Christchurch. The four troops were Collingwood (Scoutmaster I). A. Perry), Evans Bay (iScoutmaster Cook), and Petonc (Scoutmaster Mouat and Instructor Lee). The hoys were very wall turned out, and the two new troops, Evans Bay imd Petone. acquitted themselves quite as well as their more hightly trained comrades in the Collingwood and Port Nicholson divisions. The inspection opened with a march past, and following this Collingwood and Port Nicholson were examined in boatwork. Scouting and marching tests were held in addition, these for the Jellicoe Silver Trident, which w’as presented by tho late Governor-General for competition among the Sea Scout troops of the Dominion. With Commander Hall were General Sir Alfred Bolin (Chief Scout Commissioner for the Wellington district), and Commander Young. 8.. N. (retired’. Commissioner of the 'Wellington Sea Scouts.
