SPEED BY-LAW FOR TRUCKS
In the light of what happens many thousands of times daily, it is interesting to quote the speed rules for AVellington streets for motor lorries. These are as follow-Two-ton lorries or trucks. 15 miles nor bonr ; three to four ton lorries, 12 miles per hour: five-ton lorries. 10 miles per hour. These speeds, in the highly-developed motor vehicles for heavy work, now in use, aro by many considered scarcely reasonable.
