CITY BLOCK SOLD
BOND STREET PROPERTY REALISES £630 PER FOOT Since the public auction sale of the properties contained in the Parish Street portion of the areas held by Bond Street, Ltd., the valuable block, situated on the corner of New Bond (late Parish) Street and Manners Street, has been sold. This block has a frontage of 33ft. to Manners Street by a depth of 75ft. to Bond Street, and sold on the Manners Street frontage it realised £630 per foot, or a total for the block of £21,000. The purchaser Was Mr. P. Schneideman, of Wellington. The sale was negotiated by Messrs. Harcourt and Co. in conjunction. with Mr. W. M. B. Mowbray. The joint agents also report that options are being sought by intending purchasers over the remaining unsold lots. As a result of the sale to Mr. Schneideman there will be a continuous row of modern shops down the western side of Bond Street from Manners Street, to Old Customhouse Street within twelve months.
