0 “DISCREET COOLIDGE BOOM” (Rec. February 24 , 8.20 p.m.) New York, February 23. It is reported from Washington that despite the La Follette resolution a decision has been made to nominate President Coolidge at the Republican National Convention. It is reported that many delegates will be sent to the convention without instructions, which amounts to a discreet Coolidge boom. A secret meeting of Republican Senators and partv leaders at Washington this week is understood to be a. sure indication of President Coolidge’s nomination.
