IN SIR GEORGE GREY’S DAYS. When Sir George Grey was appointed Governor of New Zeaalnd in 1853, Dill’s Best Tobacco was not known in this country, though it had been on the market since 1848. As a matter of fact, despite the immense popularity of this famous Burley leaf throughout the world, it was not until comparatively recently that it was introduced to the New Zealand market. Since its merits have become known out here, however, it has captivated every day an increasing armv of smokers, who never before realised that there was a pipe tobacco with such a natural leafy flavour, so cool and slow burning, and yet so satisfying.—Advt
