SPECIAL EACES AT EVANS BAY. Two special races, one for keel yachts and one for centre-boarders, were held in a light, southerly by the Evans Bay Club on Wednesday night. Wairere won the keelers’ race. The other yachts, Venus. lolanthe. and Linnet yrere becalmed shortly before crossing the nne, so that the race was won by a fair margin.
