ADELPHI CABARET

Workmen are at present busily engaged on the reconstruction and redecoration of the New Adelphi Cabaret, which will lie reopened on Thursday, March 1, with a grand reopening ba.ll. On this night Dave Meredith and his imported band will make their first appearance. No expense lias been spared in mailing the cabaret, what the management believe to be. the finest of its kind in Australasia. The lavish furnishings and the new indirect lighting system will all add to _the beauty of the place, while the specially con -tructed winter garden should prove a popular addition. The management announce that onlv a limited number of reservations will be taken for the open ing night. The first week of the reopening will be devoted to gala nights. The exclusive afternoon tea session will commence ou Monday, March 5.
