Sugar is 16/6 for a 701 b. bag; bulk honey and clover honey sell at lOd. lb.; rice, sago, barley and tapioca are all 3d. Ib. Spanish muscatels are 1/6 per packet, and Californian muscatels are 1/10 per packet. Turkish figs are !/• lb. , Vegetables.—Cauliflowers are now Od. to 1/- each; cabbages are 46. to 6d. each; marrows are 3d. and 4d. each; cucumbers are 2d. to 4d. each; pumpkin is 2d. lb.; butter beans are 4d. lb.; French beans are 4d. to 6d. lb.; green peas are 3d. to 6d. lb.; beetroot is 3d. per bundle; carrots, parsnips and turnips are 3d. per bunch; spring onions are 2d. per bunch; onions are 3d. per ib.; swedes are 2d. per lb. Fruit.—Peaehcs are 4d. and 6d. lb.; cooking plums are 3d. lb., and eating plums 6d. and Sd.
