IRISH COMPENSATION CLAIMS
BRITISH GOVERNMENT'S DECISION London, February 20. Air. Churchill announced that the-Go-vernment had decided to hold available a sum not exceeding £1,000,000 for the settlement of claims for damage and injury suffered in the Irish Free State immediately following the Treaty. Awards not exceeding £lOOO would be paid in full immediately.—A.B.A. and “Sun.”
