The forecast is for southerly winds, moderate chiefly, but fresh to strong in Cook Strait, and on the East Coast south of East Cape. Rough seas in Cook Strait and south of East Cape. Moderate elsewhere in New Zealand waters- Moderate south-easterly winds and moderate seas in the Tasman Sea. Weather cloudy and unsettled generally, with some rain in all districts. Cooler, temperatures.
