HUTT BUSES
Sir, —May I crave a little of your valuable space to make a complaint re the Hutt buses. It is only a few weeks since the Kailway 'Department took over the buses of the Sports Community. .Ever since then the 12 past 8 bus hag been overcrowded by at least 10 persons. This morning 1 think, it has reached the limit, there being 16 persons standing. Apart from being uncomfortable to the passengers, I think it is most dangerous. Is it not possible for two buses to leave Lambton Station at 12 past 8? —I am, etc., SAFETY FIRST.
i’etone, February 20. [When the above letter was referred to the Railway .Department it was stated that now that the Department has acquired the buses of the three other companies, a complete reorganisation ot the time-table would be undertaken, which should obviate any further complaints such as above.]
