Beter O’Malley, alias Swanson, alias Sawyers, a labourer, aged 45, was fined £5, in default one month’s imprisonment, for a seventh breach of his prohibition order. He was convicted and discharged for his second offence ot drunkenness. A remand until Wednesday was granted in the case of John James Brennan, alias Janies Storrie, alias James Brownlee, a labourer, aged 33, who was charged with obtaining £lO 6s. from Edward Newbigin by means of valueless cheque. Frank Key, a labourer, aged 27, was remanded until this morning for sentence on a charge of stealing a cheque for £5 6s. 6d., the property of Frank Sterne.
