That two residents of Palmerston and one lawn tennis club had been wasting water contrary to the resolution passed by the Borough Council when the water shortage in Palmerston became severe was brought before the notice of the council nt a meeting to-night, and on the resolution of Councillor Eliott it was decided to prosecute the offenders.
